Carquest® Independent Customers have the ability to scan a vehicle’s barcode directly from either the windshield or door, to search for parts, and to place orders through the app by using their secure Carquest Professional account.

The decoded VIN information will be displayed on the account’s "Previous Vehicles" list, offering the following advantages for auto shops:

• Capturing detailed vehicle information such as year, make, model, and engine type
• Accessing parts for scanned vehicles through CarquestPro directly from the app
• Storing recently scanned vehicles within the app
• Uploading scanned data into your Carquest Professional online account
